Five dead, two missing in helicopter crash in Italy

ROME, June 11 (Reuters) – Five people have been found dead after a helicopter crashed in central Italy, the Ansa news agency reported on Saturday citing emergency services. Two passengers are also missing.

The aircraft had taken off Thursday from Lucca, Tuscany, and was heading for Treviso, in the northeast of the Peninsula, when it disappeared from radar screens as it crossed a wooded and hilly area in bad weather.

Seven people were on board the helicopter, including four Turkish businessmen. (Report Angelo Amante, French version Jean-Stphane Brosse)
