Flew out of a curve – snow was fatal for a young car driver

The wintry driving conditions and the lack of routine were a fatal combination for a 17-year-old in Angerberg on Saturday afternoon. The young driver skidded in her car on a curve and literally flew off the road.

Around 3 p.m., the 17-year-old was driving her car on the L211 state road from Angerberg in the direction of Breitenbach. It happened in a right-hand bend: the car skidded and left the road. As a result, the car overturned and landed on its roof in a wooded area. The driver and her passenger (17) were able to free themselves from the vehicle despite serious injuries and alerted the rescue services. The girls were taken to Kufstein Hospital. The car was totaled.
