Blendecques, a town very affected by bad weather

The town of Blendecques is particularly affected by these bad weather conditions. At the start of the week, Europe 1 went there to meet victims who had set up solidarity in the village. The gymnasium had notably been transformed into an accommodation center, and a chip shop was set up next to this sports hall to distribute meals. Donations also poured in from all sides.

Mutual assistance is welcomed by Pascal: “For that, we are not going to complain! The people came to get us in a boat. They were faster than the firefighters. And then the people, they are nice. But it’s a situation which cannot continue.
