Florent Pagny replaced by Nolwenn Leroy in The Voice? The singer’s cash response

Viewers of The Voice were saddened to learn that one of the show’s most iconic coaches was ill. Florent Pagny recently revealed that he had inoperable lung cancer. The singer has therefore engaged in a fight to remove this malignant tumor which has reached his lung.

If Florent Pagny wanted to reassure his public, explaining that even if he started his chemotherapy, “life goes on” for him. We do not know if the famous coach will be able to ensure the entire season of The Voice.

The program which resumed on February 12 on TF1 should broadcast live from the competition during the month of May. Florent Pagny has just started chemotherapy for a period of six months. If for the moment the singer feels good, will his state of health allow him to go to the final?

Questioned by Gilles Bouleau at 8 p.m. on TF1, Florent Pagny explained that he could not predict anything. “I don’t know how I’ll be until then. So far the premiere is going well, but maybe by then I’ll be flawless or maybe I’ll be tired”he shared with the journalist.

If Florent Pagny is absent for health reasons, will he be replaced? If so by whom? All eyes are on Nolwenn Leroy who, exceptionally this year, joins the jury as a special coach. Responsible for picking up talents who would not have convinced the jury, Nolwenn Leroy should only appear at the start of the show and perhaps at the end.

Could the Breton singer take over from Florent Pagny? Invited to respond to an interview with TV Star, Nolwenn Leroy returned to the drama that affects Florent Pagny. While the journalists ask her if she will be able to take over from the sick singer, Nolwenn Leroy replies bluntly that it is an impossible mission. “No one can or would want to take Florent’s place!”assured the former winner of the Star Academy.

Florent Pagny is one of the coaches the oldest of the show responsible for finding talented singers. He was part of the jury from 2012 to 2018 before returning to his chair in 2021.

“For me, he’s the perfect coach. He doesn’t take detours. He says what’s on his heart and it works because it’s expressed in a sincere way. He’s the only one in the business who can behave like this. Everything passes because he is never in the calculation. He only speaks from the heart and that is really what The Voice is all about.” believes Nolwenn Leroy who refuses even to imagine the show without the aura of the French singer.
