Players of the Football Manager license are accustomed, a few weeks after the end of the winter transfer window, to see a major update being deployed, which updates the game’s database, in addition to various improvements, or corrections of problems.
Naturally, any database-related changes (transfers, competition rules, or player attributes) will not be reflected in existing games. You will have to start a new career to take advantage of all the changes made to FM 2022, via this 22.3 update, the patch notes of which can be found below.
Update 22.3, FM 2022 winter patch
- Adjustments to inside wingers/forwards and how often they take the ball in the attacking phase.
- Adjustments to how Dynamic Youth Ratings work, including some rebalancing and allocations to lower nations to give them bonuses within realistic settings.
- Numerous fixes for stability and crashing issues.
- Increased game speed during truces.
- Format and rule changes on certain nations including but not limited to: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, England, Norway, Russia, Switzerland, United States and Wales.
- Added the ability to view “Last Match Analysis” after playing a match, rather than having to wait until you’ve played three matches.
- Added option to remove 3D eyebrows using PhotoFit face to only have photo eyebrows.
- Fixed a crash when adding teams to Continental Club Competitions.
