Fnac Darty: Daniel Kretinsky holds more than 10% of the capital

(Boursier.com) — The Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky continues his rise in the capital of Fnac-Darty through the acquisition of securities on the market. In an opinion from the AMF, the company VESA Equity Investment which he controls, declared having crossed upwards, on March 7, the thresholds of 10% of the capital and voting rights of the distributor of cultural products and to hold 2,702. 770 shares representing as many voting rights, i.e. 10.10% of the capital and voting rights.

“Depending on the circumstances and market conditions, Vesa Equity Investment plans to continue its share purchases in order to increase its stake but does not intend to acquire control of Fnac Darty”, specifies the firm based in Luxembourg. Furthermore, Vesa Equity Investment does not plan to seek the appointment of one or more members of the Board of Directors.
