Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the 121e edition of Paris-Roubaix.
What is it about ? A legendary cycling event; of the unique French “monument” – the most prestigious one-day races on the calendar –; of the ” more beautiful “ classics for Belgian legend Eddy Merckx. From the “hell of the North”, which, with its sectors with disjointed, irregular, broken cobblestones, is one of the most unpredictable events for the peloton.
Or ? From Compiègne (Oise) to the Roubaix velodrome: some 260 kilometers of racing, including nearly 56 kilometers of paved sectors.
At what time ? Fictitious departure at 11:10 a.m., for an official flag lowering at 11:25 a.m. Arrival scheduled between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
On which channels? For the unencrypted broadcast, the live broadcast will start on France 3 (at 10:35 a.m.), followed by a detour on France 4 (at 11:25 a.m.), before returning to France 3, from 12:55 p.m. until arrival. Eurosport 1 is also broadcasting the race, live and in full, from 10:30 a.m.
Who is hosting this live? Louise Le Borgne, Mustapha Kessous and Valentin Moinard, stationed on the new chicane of the not so famous Austerlitz trench, on the outskirts of the not at all paved sector of avenue Pierre-Mendès-France.
What we probably won’t talk about? Due to the fact that in ants the queen can become a worker if circumstances require it.
