(AOF) – The PAT group (Plant Advanced Technologies) announces that it is “industrialising the production of a new generation of food supplements via the metabolic engineering technologies of its subsidiary Cellengo”. Specialized in the discovery and production of rare plant biomolecules, it launched the N’GINS program (New Generation of Health Nutraceutical Ingredients), which aims to market food supplements based on new classes of “nature identical” polyphenols. and products with low environmental impact.

Through the N’GINS program, the companies Fytexia, PAT and Cellengo aim to become key players in the production of phenolic compounds with high nutritional value via breakthrough technologies, and thus actively participate in strengthening the French bioeconomic sector. in the fields of biotechnology and nutrition.

The N’GINS program is the winner of the “Food needs of tomorrow” call for projects, supported by the France 2030 program for an overall budget of around 4.8 million euros.
