A few weeks after the sand yachting controversy, the capital club posted a video on Twitter in which we see the Parisian players taking a Qatar Airways plane to go to Lyon.
As a reminder, faced with the strong tackle from the boss of SNCF-Intercités who denounced the fact that PSG had taken the plane rather than the train to go to Nantes, Christophe Galtier had preferred to play the humor card. “To be honest, we spoke with the company that organizes our trips, we are trying to see if we can not travel by sand yacht“, had quipped the 56-year-old technician. But this statement sparked a lively controversy which even made the political class react.
A few days after Christophe Galtier mentioned “regrets” about what he said, PSG posted a video this Sunday in which the Parisian players boarded a Qatar Airways plane for the trip to Lyon (kick-off at 9 p.m. ).
An action which shows that the club of the capital assumes to take the plane for its displacements. But this video risks reigniting controversy.
