The penalty fell. The Auteuil stand, where the Collectif Ultra Paris meets to set the mood in the Parc des Princes, will be closed for a meeting, according to a decision by the Professional Football League. This follows the use of smoke bombs during the PSG-Marseille meeting on October 16.

The Auteuil stand at the Parc des Princes will be partially closed for a meeting, the Professional Football League (LFP) announced on Wednesday, cracking down after the classic Paris SG – Marseille on October 16 (1-0), marked by the lighting of smoke bombs and the use of lasers.

Part of this stand, where the ultra supporters are massed, should therefore remain empty during the next meeting of PSG in Ligue 1, Saturday against Troyes at 5 p.m.

The Disciplinary Committee also sanctioned PSG with a suspended match behind closed doors from this same Auteuil stand, where dozens of pyrotechnic devices were ignited during the match against OM on October 16.

“Use of pyrotechnic devices”

The LFP retained the reasons for “use of pyrotechnic devices, use of lasers and intrusion on the playing area”, it indicates in a press release.

The North stand of the Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Villeneuve-d’Ascq was also sanctioned with a suspended match behind closed doors, after excesses observed during Lille-Lens on October 9.

The Disciplinary Committee also sanctioned players who received a red card last weekend. Kader Bamba (Nantes) and Stephy Mavididi (Montpellier) were the most severely punished, each with two suspension matches to serve, plus a third suspended sentence.
