The Star Wars series The Acolyte shows itself once again and announces very, very heavy things to us. It looks simply spectacular!
Awaited by an army of fans, The Acolyte is THE next big Star Wars series coming to Disney+. After an announcement and a first trailer that was more than noticed, the series offers a new trailer that is still just as impressive. It must be said that on paper, the project is really appealing.

The Star Wars universe is vast, very, very vast. We’ve been exploring the stars for years through numerous films, books and now a slew of live action and animated series, so much so that it’s difficult to navigate for the uninitiated. Regardless, the fans clearly got their money’s worth. With The AcolyteStar Wars should tell us more about one of the least explored periods of its universe since it will take place well before anything we know, in a distant, very distant time, before the first films of the saga .
It now remains to be seen how it will all come together, but with a 5-star cast including Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix), Amandla Stenberg (Hunger Games), Dafne Keen (Logan) or even Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) we should be reassured, especially since behind the camera we find Leslye Headland one of the creators of the series Russian dolls on Netflix and who has already worked on blockbusters like Cloverfield. We’ll see what the finished product turns out to be, but in the meantime, the first visuals are really making us hungry. The Acolyte will be broadcast from June 4 on Disney+ with a first XXL episode in two parts.
