Football: Angers gets closer to a return to Ligue 1

by Gabriel Laforgue (iDalgo)

The end of the season is fast approaching. Angers, with a match ahead of Saint-Etienne, temporarily deprived the Stéphanois of their second place by winning at home against Pau FC. At the other end of the table, the match between Troyes and Valenciennes was interrupted by Trojan supporters unhappy with the very probable relegation of their team after a draw against the bottom of the standings. Just above, Dunkerque moved away from the red zone by winning on the lawn of Quevilly Rouen Métropole who failed to stay in the championship.
