The former international with 145 caps (French record), retired from the France team since the 2022 World Cup final lost against Argentina, has signed up for at least one season with Los Angeles FC, finalist of the last MLS championship. The American franchise counts in its ranks captain Carlos Vela and Denis Bouanga, a Gabonese striker who notably played for Saint-Etienne.
