Brazilian striker Neymar has informed Paris Saint-Germain management that he wants to leave the club this summer. The 31-year-old would like to return to his former club, FC Barcelona. But it’s hard to imagine that the Spanish club could afford such a transfer or match the player’s salary.

After Kylian Mbappé, it is a new burning file which presents itself on the office of the Parisian president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. According to the newspaper L’Equipe, Neymar informed PSG of his desire to leave yesterday afternoon during the team’s first training session before the resumption of Ligue 1. Contacted by Europe 1, the club neither confirmed nor reversed this information. The Brazilian had reappeared as the leader of the Parisian project with the departure of Lionel Messi and that, more than likely, of Kylian Mbappé.

A new soap opera for PSG

A paradox, because PSG wanted to part with it a few months ago. Neymar would have been marked by PSG supporters, who came in large numbers to his home last May to demand his departure. The 31-year-old would like to return to his former club, FC Barcelona. But it’s hard to imagine that the Spanish club could afford such a transfer or match the player’s salary. After Kylian Mbappe, here is Neymar, one soap opera chases another. With less than a month to go until the end of the transfer window, the month of August is likely to be long and very tense for Paris Saint-Germain.
