The ten runners-up in the group meet in the World Cup play-offs. In addition, the two best group winners of the “UEFA Nations League 2020/21” will take part in the race for the last places for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Russia was disqualified due to the current world situation.
The Ukraine-Scotland match has been rescheduled for a date between June 2nd and 14th. Only one game without a second leg will be played.
