The last three nations to join Euro 2024 are known! Georgia won against Greece to complete their ticket (1 – 0). After a 0-0 draw at the end of extra time, the two teams played a penalty shootout which the Georgians won 4 – 2. The latter were joined by Ukraine who beat Iceland (2 – 1). Trailing 1 – 0 after Gudmundsson’s opener, the Ukrainians turned the situation around in the second half thanks to goals from Tsygankov and Mudryk. Finally, Poland became the last team to qualify for the European Championship by triumphing over Wales at the end of a penalty shootout which Szczesny concluded by saving the last penalty (0 – 0 then 4 – 5).
