The modernization of the route is part of the so-called Styria Package, which was agreed jointly with the state of Styria. “The modernization of the Radkersburg railway is a good example of how climate protection and mobility change do not stop with the main routes. Around 80 million euros will be raised in the coming years to make the regional route more attractive, future-proof and sustainable,” says Judith Engel, CEO of ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG.
