Announced two years ago, Forever Ago is the very first game from Third Shift, a small independent studio founded by two friends. Published by Annapurna Interactive, the narrative adventure is planning a PC release.
Forever Ago takes us on a solo road trip in which we follow Alfred, a retiree who embarks on a journey north following a tragic twist of fate. In search of redemption, Alfred follows a path that he has in fact already traveled in the past in the company of his wife. A journey that through the country that will therefore also be a kind of inner journey for our protagonist.
Through magnificent landscapes, the game invites us to live a story full of emotions where the regrets of the old man mingle with notes of hope and friendship. Explore environments as beautiful as they are different, ranging from large tranquil lakes to arid lands in the middle of the desert. In addition to documenting your trip using an old instant camera, you will have plenty of time to solve small puzzles embedded in the environment. Finally, the road trip, even if it is intended to be solitary, will allow you to meet fascinating people whose life stories you will discover.
