After a break of years, Formula 1 is once again stopping in China. In the run-up to the main race, the sprint and the qualifying will take place on Saturday, April 20th from 5:00 a.m.

This weekend Formula 1 is once again testing a new format. After training and sprint qualifying, there will be a sprint race today and qualifying for the race on Sunday. The new order of the sessions came as a surprise. Surprisingly, Brit Lando Norris is on pole for the sprint. He kept his competitors over a second behind in the rain in Shanghai. They were followed by Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, while Max Verstappen was only fourth.

The sprint race and the qualification can be seen on Sky Sport F1 and in Austria on Servus TV. In Switzerland, the SRF is responsible for broadcasting the qualification, but not the sprint race.

You can follow the live stream in this country via Wow (formerly Sky Ticket), RTL+ and foreign media libraries.
