Formula 1: Leclerc wins ahead of Verstappen in Austria, Hamilton again on the podium

Charles Leclerc on the rebound. After five Grand Prix marked with the seal of bad luck (or strategic errors), the Monegasque signed his third victory of the season this Sunday in Austria. The fifth in his career for the Ferrari driver, who started second on the grid but was much faster on the track than his rival Max Verstappen, second on home soil and in front of his home crowd. As at Silverstone, Lewis Hamilton completes the podium, just ahead of his teammate George Russell, who signs a new top 5 there ahead of Esteban Ocon (5th), more comfortable than his compatriot Pierre Gasly, stuck at the back of the grid (14th) .

As at Silverstone, Mick Schumacher signs a new arrival in the points, his second in career (6th). Note the retirement at the end of the race of Carlos Sainz, whose engine caught fire when he was on track to complete the podium.
