(CercleFinance.com) – Forsee Power announced on Tuesday that the Egyptian bus and truck manufacturer Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) has selected new battery systems.
Egypt’s leading automaker has chosen to equip its first full electric vehicle with the high-energy ‘Zen Plus’ battery systems that the French firm launched last year.
MCV – which manufactures buses, coaches, airport buses and special trucks – markets its vehicles in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the United States.
In a press release, Forsee stresses that the addition of the first manufacturer of commercial vehicles in Africa and the Middle East will open the doors to new geographical areas.
The group points out that it has already equipped more than 1,800 buses in Europe, which currently places it in a leading position in this market.
