Forspoken: A trailer is hijacked and mocked by many Internet users

Clearly, communication around Forspoken has a hard time convincing the public. The game recently announced its second postponement, certainly to come out at a quieter time than the end of the year, and if it’s being talked about again today, it’s not necessarily for a good reason. In one of the last trailers presenting the story of the game, we could hear the heroine Frey saying two or three lines, which are now massively parodied across the Web.

Not released yet, but already parodied

The trailer was taken over and cut by the game’s official Twitter account, with a montage that was meant to be stylized by displaying the lines on the screen, except here, the Internet is teasing, and that only accentuated the very cliché side of these replicas. In French, it looks like this:

So let me take stock. I’m in a place that doesn’t look like Earth… I see bloody dragons… And… Oh yeah, I’m talking to a bracelet. Yeah okay, that’s what I’m doing now. I do magic, I kill big beasts, I’ll start flying soon. »

Blessed bread for Twitter, which had fun hijacking this dialogue with a lot of humor. We leave you with an anthology of the best diversions, and we invite you to see the tweets in response for a good dose of laughter. Hopefully the rest of the dialogue makes a better impression in the final game.

As a reminder, Forspoken will be released on January 24, 2023 on PC and PlayStation 5.
