2024 - Fort Boyard: the real reason why Nelson Monfort will no longer go

Guest on the Jordan De Luxe program for Télé-Loisirs, Nelson Monfort returned to his participation in Fort Boyard. The sports commentator reveals the reason why he will no longer participate in the program.

If the new episodes of Fort Boyard will soon be on the air, there is one who is not ready to participate again in the France Télévisions program. Asked by Jordan De Luxe for Tele-LeisureNelson Monfort confided in the reason why he no longer wants to set foot in the show: “It’s not my age anymore”, he begins by declaring. “There are others who do it very well. To jump out of a turret 80 meters above the ocean, with all the critters on me. I got everything more.”

Some Internet users then heavily criticized Joyce Jonathan, believing that the singer had not given everything she could during the tests.

Nelson Monfort confides in his relationship with Philippe Candeloro

During this interview, the sports commentator made a tender statement to Philippe Candeloro, with whom he shares comments during figure skating competitions, although he agrees that he has a flaw that can be difficult to deal with: “Philippe, he has all the qualities in the world, but he is sometimes a little angry with the clock and when it comes to commentating live on figure skating at the Olympic Games in front of millions of television viewers, and we are two minutes away off the air and it’s still not there…” Despite this detail, Nelson Monfort considers the former skating champion as “a little brother of extraordinary fidelity.”
