A famous dataminer has hinted that a Warzone feature could land on Fortnite, upsetting the course of things on Epic Games’ battle royale.
Over the seasons, Epic Games has implemented a number of new features on Fortnite to energize the battle royale and brighten up the daily lives of players.
Nevertheless, despite these avalanches of new content, players tend to envy features present in competing titles.
Indeed, it is not uncommon for them to suggest different concepts to the developers, often inspired by other battle royales, hoping to catch their attention and that their dreams will eventually come true.

A Warzone feature, soon on Fortnite?
According to HYPEX, a well-known dataminer, another Warzone-inspired mobility feature could soon be coming to Fortnite.
On January 18, he said: “Epic is working on a ‘tactical sprint’ mechanic. When activated, your camera will shake like when you’re sliding!”.

While Epic has just introduced slides to Fortnite, allowing players to more easily move around the island or down hills, this news is surprising.
However, HYPEX has not provided any date for the arrival of this potential new feature. If it is indeed planned, it may not land anytime soon.
Either way, the tactical sprint has proven quite popular in Warzone, but whether Fortnite players will be as excited if it makes its way to the battle royale remains to be seen.
