Over two years ago, a Star Wars event allowed battle royale players to get their hands on a lightsaber, among other things, the most famous weapon of the Jedi and the Sith. It was a temporary weapon, which had disappeared at the end of the event, and had made its return, a few months later, on the occasion of Star Wars Day. According to the latest rumors, we should, very soon, find them in game.
Indeed, a video published by a dataminer implies thatEpic Games will, within a few weeks at most, reimplement lightsabers in Fortnite. The video in the tweet is proof, but doesn’t mean it’s going to happen, although battle royale leaks come to light very often over time.

Thus, we have several potential exit and return windows for these particularly lethal weapons. The first, to the occasion of the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, April 5. The second, at the beginning of May, on the occasion of Star Wars Day, an event highlighting the license, on the 4th of this month, to form the pun “may the 4 be with you”.
