The new Fortnite update 20.40 has launched in Epic Games’ Battle Royale. As the rebellion progresses and has just won Tilted Towers, a sign of the end of the season which is slowly approaching, the weapons of the Detours are back on the island. As a reminder, the Detours rifle and the Detours minigun were found in this parallel dimension (the Cube) during a previous season. During Detour Week until May 24, weapons can be found in chests and on the ground. A week of quests is also launched.
Meanwhile, some weapons are seeing their spawn rate increase in Zero Construction mode. This is the case for the shock wave grenadesbut also the improvements stone plow for vehicles or flaws all ready, which plan to outnumber for an unlimited time. You can also continue to vote for the next element to be reintroduced, between the protective bubbles and the balloons. Find the financing and voting tables on the map, the first at 100% will be added to the game (pity by the bubbles).
At last, change on the PS5 and Xbox Series side with the announcement of a reduction in latency on these versions of the game. Performance has been improved for the 60 fps display.
Players can now reduce keystroke latency by choosing “Low Control Latency Mode” in Settings (Settings > Game > Additional Game Options). Low latency command mode is enabled by default.
It is also now easier toenable 120fps mode from PS5, psince it is no longer necessary to go to the console settings. For this, it must now be activated in this way:

In Fortnite, open the settings from the sidebar.

Select Graphics.

Set the 120 fps mode on Yes.

Select Apply.
