Fortnite teams up with Paramount: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and SpongeBob SquarePants in Battle Royale?

After Naruto, Walking Dead, Marvel and many others, it would be Paramount’s turn to collaborate with Epic Games to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or even Sponge Bob in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

If there is one thing what characterizes Fortnite: Battle Royale are its countless skins. Among these, many of them come from collaborations with other brands, series, franchises and Fortnite can also boast of being the game having achieved the most partnerships since its launch. It is therefore not surprising to learn that Epic Games has signed a partnership with Paramount in order to incorporate into its game well-known figures from Paramount Studios.

The main objective of this partnership would be to bring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back to Fortnite according to Nick “Shepshal Nick” Baker, a leaker who’s been right on numerous occasions in the past. This remains a theory, no official information having been communicated, but it is very likely that confirmation be made in the coming weeks.

Paramount also has many other licenses and among those mentioned in the context of a potential partnership, the names of SpongeBob or Avatar: the last airbender stand out. Only downside, how to incorporate them into the world of Battle Royale without distorting it? We also don’t know if these skins will be redeemable through challenges or in the shop, but before you see those skins arrive, we will have to arm ourselves with patience, Epic taking its time in partnerships in order to offer the cleanest possible result.

In the meantime, you can play with all of these licenses in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, in the form of a Smash Bros. style brawler.
