As the return to school year 2022 began in Fortnite with dead calm, Epic Games is finally getting agitated. Based on Fortnite’s test servers, dataminers have determined that the next patch 19.10 will be deployed Tuesday, January 18, 2022. And it will most likely be a big chunk, arriving more than a month after the last update.
Dinos, IO, Tilted and more
Leakers believe that this patch 19.10 will be one of the most impactful of the season. There is indeed a good chance that it contains many of the following elements:
- New giant dinosaurs that will be possible to ride
- New underground locations of the IO
- Tilted Towers Thaw
- Grenade launcher
It is also on January 18 that the island will have got rid of its Christmas atmosphere to regain its standard look.
Note, however, that new weather elements (tornado, lightning …) should see the light of day in Fortnite this week, since dataminers spotted challenges mentioning them.
Generally, the deployment of this type of patch takes place in the morning, around 9 a.m. or 10 a.m., with an end of maintenance around 11:30 a.m. However, it is good to remember that some new features of the patches are only deployed in the days following their implementation, and not immediately.
