We have seen much more eventful and hyped season transitions from Epic Games. For this transition from Season 1 of Chapter 3 to Season 2 of Fortnite, we could almost say that it was done in the most discreet way possible. Indeed, we only had the right to a simple tweet announcing the maintenance, and a trailer, published on the morning of March 20. Nothing more, not even a teaser.
This can, in part, be explained by the fact that this new season starts on a Sunday, far from the standards we have already known, to raise the temperature.

The thing is, this new season is definitely coming, although we’ve seen more teased lambda updates. To introduce some of the new features, Epic Games has therefore shared a trailer, which also allows us to see that the story will evolve, since a great fight is brewing. (again).
This trailer, called “Resistance”, therefore takes a tour of the things we should expect for this season, with the very likely arrival of new major NPCs on the map, but also points of interest that will evolve, as very often. Finally, some of the Battle Pass skins seem to show up, like Dr. Strange, signing Marvel’s return to Fortnite for the umpteenth time.
