Forvia: net loss widened in 2022


(CercleFinance.com) – Forvia posted a net loss group share of 382 million euros for 2022, widened compared to a loss of 79 million in 2021, impacted by the withdrawal from Russia, as well as integration costs of Hella, restructurings or linked to hyperinflation.

The automotive supplier, comprising Faurecia and Hella, saw its operating margin contract by 1.1 points to 4.4% for a turnover of nearly 25.5 billion euros, up 63%, including a 17% organic growth.

For 2023, Forvia notably forecasts an operating margin between 5 and 6%, as well as a turnover between 25.2 and 26.2 billion euros, including an estimated impact on sales of -1.3 billion resulting disposals announced to date.
