PARIS (Reuters) – The 2022 baccalaureate specialty written tests have been postponed to mid-May, a little over two months, the Ministry of National Education announced on Friday, a decision justified by the situation. health in the name of equal treatment between candidates.

These tests, which were originally to be held on March 14, 15 and 16, have been postponed to May 11, 12 and 13, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the program would not be changed. The so-called “experimental capacity assessment” tests will take place in the days that follow, he adds.

The tests will also be arranged with, among other things, revisions in all the establishments the two previous days and the cancellation “on an exceptional basis” of the tests specific to the language level certificate.

This postponement also leads the ministry to modify the terms of “Parcoursup”, the national post-baccalaureate orientation system: unable to include the marks of the specialty tests, it will take into account the averages obtained by the candidates in the subjects concerned. over the three terms of the first class and the first two terms of terminale.

For first year students, the number of texts to be presented during the advance oral French test will be reduced to 16 for the general route and nine for the technological route.
