France: Final harmonized inflation of 3.2% over one year in February

(Reuters) – The consumer price index harmonized according to European standards (HICP) slowed less than expected in February, according to data published on Friday by INSEE.
Harmonized inflation stood at 3.2% in France over one year in February, after a “flash” estimate of 3.1% published at the end of February and +3.4% in January. From one month to the next, INSEE confirmed its first estimate of an increase in HICP prices of 0.9% in February.

Inflation calculated according to French standards was also revised upwards by 0.1 point, to 3% over one year (after +2.9%) and 0.9% over one month (after 0.8%).
