Salaried employment in the private sector was stable (0.0%) in France, excluding Mayotte, during the fourth quarter, according to the “flash” estimate published Wednesday by INSEE.
In the previous quarter, private sector payroll employment increased by 0.1%.
The number of salaried job creations in the sector in 2023 (+113,800 jobs) was three times lower than in 2022 (+346,600 jobs), according to INSEE.
