France reciprocally expels two Azerbaijani diplomats

PARIS, (Reuters) – France has declared two agents of the Azerbaijan embassy persona non grata, the French Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, saying the decision was a reciprocal measure after Baku expelled two diplomats French for “conduct incompatible” with their status.

Paris “takes note” of Baku’s decision, of which it “categorically refutes” the allegations presented to justify its decision, said the Quai d’Orsay in a press release, specifying that it had summoned the Azerbaijani ambassador to France to “communicate these elements”.
