François Hollande and Julie Gayet in love: their adorable Christmas photo!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day ended with joy and good humor in many homes. Celebrities have also, for many, enjoyed seeing their loved ones for this comforting and delicious winter period. This is particularly the case of François Hollande and his partner, Julie Gayet. The lovebirds shared, on their Instagram accounts Monday, December 25, a photo of them, all smilesin front of a decorated tree in red and gold tones.

In the photo, the actress and the former President of the Republic seem more accomplices than ever. The 51-year-old filmmaker, dressed simply in a loose beige and black sailor sweater and wearing almost no makeup, looks at the camera with a sparkling gaze, leaning towards her dog to stroke him. To his left is François Hollande, dressed in a navy blue tuxedo and matching tie, more focused on devouring her with his eyes than posing for the photo. The couple later posted a snap of the family pooch lounging on the indoor rug and protecting the many still-wrapped presents, which can be seen in the background. “Merry Christmas to everyone !” captioned Emmanuel Macron’s predecessor, obtaining, in return, numerous happy end-of-year messages from Internet users.

A more relaxed Christmas than when he was President

This Christmas 2023 is in any case much less complicated than those passed when he was at the Élysée. Before returning to normal life, François Hollande had to trick himself into spending the holidays in the company of the woman he loves, without the whole of France being aware of his program. In 2017, we revealed to you that the former President of the Republic had used a little trick to be able to spend his first Christmas day with Julie Gayet, namely to reserve a table in the Cannes restaurant The Ondinein the first name of his darling. Enough to surprise the waiters when he arrived with the actress, but also enough to allow him to enjoy the moment without paparazzi on their trail.
