Frank-Walter Steinmeier invites you to a Christmas concert in 2021. The ZDF shows “Christmas with the Federal President” on Christmas Eve.
Every year again: The Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier (65) and his wife Elke Büdenbender (59) invite you to the traditional Christmas concert again this year. The event will be broadcast on Friday, December 24th, from 6 p.m. on ZDF.
Johannes B. Kerner (57) moderates the program. The evening in the Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Dieburg, Hesse, will be accompanied by singer Clueso (41) and actor Hannes Jaenicke (61), among others. The opera singer Matthias Goerne (54) and the Spanish violinist Maria Duenas (19) also provide musical highlights.
An integral part of Christmas Eve since 1995
The program “Christmas with the Federal President” is being staged for the 27th time. The concert was launched in 1995 on the initiative of former President Roman Herzog (1934-2017) and his then wife Christiane (1936-2000).
Due to the corona, the current concert without an audience was recorded on December 14th.
