Whether as a karaoke hit or simply to shout along at parties: Even 40 years after its publication, practically everyone knows the song “Scandal im Sperrgebiet” by the Munich-based Spider Murphy Gang. Now one of the founding members of the group has passed away.
Franz Trojan sat on drums for the Spider Murphy Gang until 1992. As the “Bayerischer Rundfunk” announced on Thursday, Trojan died at the age of 64 in the West German town of Kamp-Lintfort. (cat)
