What is the OQEE by Free TV application anyway?
Until now, the OQEE by Free TV application was only available on Android TV and Samsung TV, in the world of televisions. It allows, if necessary, to watch live television (up to 230 channels accessible live) and to access the various replay services, in addition to a few other features such as live control, recording, the start-over etc.
The application is accessible to different members of the family, simultaneously and on several screens: tablets, smartphones, computers and… televisions, including LG Smart TVs, as you will have understood. In total, the app allows up to 5 connections at the same time on different screens.

Regarding Free Mobile subscribers, only those with the Free 5G Package (19.99 euros/month or 9.99 euros/month for Freebox Pop subscribers) can access it. The application is obviously free, there are no additional costs for LG TV owners who install it.
How can Free subscribers who have an LG Smart TV benefit from the app?
To use the OQEE by Free TV application, it’s relatively simple. Simply install the compatible application on all LG Smart TVs in your home equipped with WebOS version 4.0 or higher. This is done from the LG Content Store.

The main development brought to the C series is none other than the use of OLED EX technology which took place last year with the LG OLED C2. Consequently, the performance differences between this model and last year’s are very small, not to say that they will be barely visible to an untrained eye. The additional control provided by the new processor in terms of brightness management makes sense and allows a significantly more precise approach with HDR content.
Besides that, the video processing remains of excellent quality and is progressing in the right direction. Finally, other developments allow this television to stand out, in particular because it is once again compatible with the DTS:X audio format, or even with a new WebOS interface, redesigned menus and overall better interactivity.
