How the pricing table works
The FreeBuds SE adopt a look quite similar to the FreeBuds 4i with a design consisting of a long stem and a silicone tip. The upper, however, seems slightly more pointed on this new model. The case is also significantly different, more flattened, and the headphones are placed horizontally inside and not vertically.
Huawei praises the sensations of comfort that the FreeBuds SE would provide, in particular thanks to their semi-intra-auricular format (which does not involve insertion into the ear canal), but also their lightness (5.1 g per earphone). Three pairs of different sized silicone tips are included with purchase.
The FreeBuds SE are equipped with 10mm speakers and communicate via Bluetooth 5.2. They also have multipoint functionality that allows them to be paired with two devices at once. Each earphone has a touch surface placed at the top of the stem, allowing you to manage reading and calls at your fingertips. Moreover, the built-in microphones are supported by a noise reduction technology that would make clear calls, even in noisy environments. Autonomy is announced at 6 hours, with three additional charges thanks to the case.
Like the other FreeBuds models, the FreeBuds SE reserve certain features for Huawei terminals, such as low latency mode, to play in peace, or a quick pairing function. Users of other terminals can rest assured that many settings remain accessible through the AI Life app available on EMUI, Android and iOS.
The FreeBuds SE are already available in blue or white for €49.99. Huawei offers, as usual, an introductory offer which places the headphones at € 39.99 for an indefinite period.
