There are currently an increasing number of reports in our fault report about problems with receiving and sending emails via the freemailer Freenet. Some users also report login problems.
The whole of Germany seems to be affected by the disruption. It is particularly pronounced in large cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg. It is not yet known what the reason for the problems is. Freenet itself has not yet commented.
If you still want to access your emails, you should try using a third-party app. In most cases this works, even if Freenet itself is down. As soon as anything changes in the situation, we will let you know here.
