Fabio Quartararo doubtful for the Dutch Grand Prix. X-rays taken Thursday afternoon revealed a broken toe. He will have to be seen again on Friday at the start of the afternoon to judge the evolution of the injury, according to a press release from MotoGP on Thursday.
Fabio Quartararo is suffering from a broken toe and will have to undergo examinations on Friday after the first free practice session of the Dutch Grand Prix, the MotoGP championship promoter announced on Thursday. The French rider, currently 8th in the Championship and in difficulty on the handlebars of his Yamaha, was injured this week while jogging in Amsterdam.
Painkillers
According to the Yamaha team, Quartararo fell while running and twisted his left ankle and big toe when he hit an obstacle. The pilot will have to take painkillers to be able to put weight in the changes of direction. The Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled for Sunday at the very fast TT in Assen, nicknamed the Cathedral of Circuits, after the practice and qualifying days on Friday and Saturday.
