(Boursier.com) — Migros France has partnered with Frey as part of a partnership that is part of Migros France’s strategy to promote the transformation and sustainability of the Vitam site in the Geneva region.

The objective is to mobilize the expertise and resources of the Frey Group for the transformation of a wasteland for the benefit of a new mixed and sustainable project.

Migros France has owned and operated the Vitam leisure and shopping center for 13 years, ideally located in Neydens in Haute-Savoie, at the intersection of the main structuring roads in Geneva. Migros France also acquired adjoining land in 2014, enabling the site to be restructured.

For Frey, the challenge of this partnership is to define and design a “New Vitam” which will eventually become a new destination and a local center vector of wealth creation for the territory, of social ties and generator of a new urban mix at the service of environmental transition.

This project is part of a voluntary approach, respectful of the environment, the territory and the necessary energy sobriety. In particular, it will be integrated into the existing site on surfaces that have already been developed. The “New Vitam” will become a new place to live, friendly and sustainable, developed in co-construction with all the stakeholders of the territory.
