FritzOS 7.50: Next FritzBox gets beta version


After the FritzBox 7590 has already received a beta version for FritzOS 7.50, it is now the turn of the FritzBox 7590 AX. FritzOS 7.50: The most important innovations

For the first time since FritzOS 7.25, version 7.50 brings fresh functions. These are the most important innovations:

New beta version for FritzBox 7590 AX

The new betas are available for download from an AVM website (version numbers: 07.39-94090 and -94093). The versions include the following new features, improvements and bug fixes:

Internet

  • New: Support for WireGuard VPN connections
  • Improvement: When activating Internet access to storage media via FTP/FTPS, the randomly assigned port number is displayed
  • Improvement: The IPv6 Interface Identifier used on the WAN is chosen randomly
  • Improvement: In the user interface, an image now clarifies the different VPN connection types
  • Improvement: Other FritzBox products in the Mesh are automatically registered in the Mesh Master’s MyFritz account
