With Twitter it’s a bit like with flat jokes: unexpectedly you read things and at the same time hear yourself laughing at the top of your lungs. We have a similar experience when reading Selina Seemann’s collected Twitter pearls. We have put some together for you here, more of them can be found in her book #kleindruckes.

Selina Kristin Seemann has been appearing regularly on stages in German-speaking countries as a slam poet, author and moderator since 2016. In 2020 she became runner-up in the poetry slam in Schleswig-Holstein, is a multiple winner of the NDR poetry slam in Low German and a regular author at the largest and most successful reading stage in Schleswig-Holstein “Something with seagulls”. She lives in Kiel. About herself she says: »I live on the internet! I use Twitter as a kind of notebook, and now I wanted to collect the ideas somewhere where they can’t get away again.” That’s exactly what she did – in her book “#kleindruckes” she compiled and organized Twitter texts from several years :08am to 7:30am the next day so it’s a good read all day and enjoy the short lyrics, for us at least they made us laugh a lot.
