Front Mission 2: Remake, the mechas set off again to attack new platforms, a demo available, but not for everyone

After a release on Switch, the remake of the first Front Mission sign Forever Entertainment was ported to new platforms last summer. It is therefore without much surprise that after Front Mission 1st: Remakethe Polish studio does the same with Front Mission 2: Remake as announced this Friday, trailer and numerous visuals, the latter of which can be found on the next page.

Released last year on the console Nintendo, Front Mission 2: Remake will therefore be available on April 30, 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam, GOG.com and theEpic Games Store priced at €34.99. As with its predecessor, a demo is already available on the platform Valvebut not elsewhere… It includes the first two levels and the Garage to personalize your Wanzer, and it will be possible to transfer your save when the full game is released. A 10% discount will also be applied until July 12.

Below you will find the synopsis of its storyline, which alternates between three main characters named Ash, Lisa And Thomas. In terms of new features compared to the game of Squaresoft of the PlayStation, note the support for 9 languages ​​including French, a re-orchestrated soundtrack, a free camera and even improved loadings.

12 years have passed since the second Huffman conflict. The poverty-stricken People’s Republic of Alordesh suffered severe economic decline after the end of the war. In June 2102, the soldiers of the Alordesh army, led by Ven Mackarge, rose up en masse to declare their independence from the OCU (Oceania Cooperative Union).

Ash, an OCU soldier, manages to survive the ensuing battle, but Alordesh is completely overrun by the Revolutionary Army. Ash and his fellow survivors then infiltrate the labyrinthine dungeons of Alordesh to try to escape. However, they soon discovered the existence of a vast conspiracy behind this coup.
