Last month, 11 Bit Studios announced the arrival of Frostpunk 2 for July 25, with a beta a few weeks before. We now know the dates of the latter, which will be held from April 15 to 22, 2024. For a whole week, players will have the opportunity to survive in a hostile environment. Provided you have pre-ordered the Deluxe edition.
As announced last month, only those who fell for the most expensive edition will be able to take advantage of this beta. Currently, you have to pay €67.49 to have access to a week of testing. A rather high cost for a version which only gives access to part of what the game can offer.

During this beta of Frostpunk 2, players will therefore have access to a sandbox mode. We don’t know the details of the latter, but it should be an endless mode. No scenario, only construction to make your city prosper. If this is the case, it will be necessary to find the right balance between exploitation, survival and management of the colony so that everything goes without too much hassle. To see if such a mode, without unpredictable events, will be able to keep players in suspense.
