Fuels: prices remain stable until Saturday midnight

While the price of a liter of diesel increased slightly last week, that of gasoline was down.

The calm before the storm ? While fuel prices could well increase in the coming days, they are, for the moment, almost stable. According to the latest figures from the Ministry of Ecological Transition, which publishes the average price per liter of the various fuels every Monday, that of diesel rose to 1.749 euros against 1.743 last week. As for the price of the Super SP95-E10, it has fallen very slightly: from 1.617 euros per liter two weeks ago to 1.616 over the last few days.

Until December 31, the prices at the pump communicated take into account the two discounts currently in place: one, launched by the government, of 10 centimes per liter; the other at the same time, proposed by TotalEnergies.
In a few days, these aids, which had been installed to mitigate the impact of rising prices on the portfolio of the French, will therefore end. The government rebate will be replaced for a new annual boost of 100 euros intended for the most modest. At the beginning of January, fuel prices should see their prices increase, by 10 to 20 cents depending on the service station.
An adjustment that had already occurred when these two aids, from the government and from Total, had fallen in November.
