Fujifilm launches an accessory for vloggers (but not only): the TG-BT1 handle

The latest batch of accessories is served to us by Fujifilm. The Japanese firm has unveiled the TG-BT1 handle. It screws under a device and connects directly via Bluetooth to a compatible Fuji device (X-T5, X-T4, X-T3, X-S10, X-T30 II, X-T30). Compatibility with the Fujifilm X-H2 and X-H2S is expected in January 2023.

The controls are limited to the simplest, so you can take pictures via the appropriate button. A REC button is also available. A motorized zoom control has been installed for the few compatible lenses. If this type of accessory seems trivial, it is still in the logic of the 2020s, where a remote control handle transforms your case into a tool for vlogging. The fashionable practice, whether you are an influencer or a simple user.

Fujifilm does not, strictly speaking, have a device for vlogging, however, one cannot help thinking that the small X-S10, with its screen on a ball joint, its good video functions and its stabilized sensor, would be a competitor more than formidable to boxes dedicated to practice such as the Sony ZV-E10, the Nikon Z30 or the Panasonic Lumix G100. Especially equipped with the TG-BT1 handle.

Price and availability

The Fujifilm TG-BT1 handle is marketed from December 2022 at a price of €199.
