Funeral of Jacques Perrin: PPDA, Macha Méril, Brigitte Macron… All gathered for a last tribute

It was a farewell. Friday April 29, 2022, a funeral tribute was paid to Jacques Perrin the National Hotel of the Invalides. For the occasion, many people made the trip, starting with the first lady, Brigitte Macron. After greeting the sons and Valentine, the actor’s widow, Brigitte Macron stood by their side for the ceremony. In a coat and a black turtleneck, circumstance requires, she was as usual very elegant.

To say goodbye to Jacques Perrin, other personalities went to Paris. Among them : François-Xavier Demaison, Gérard Jugnol, Macha Méril, Bernard de la Villardière, Frédéric Mitterrand and Bernard Kouchner. Even Patrick Poivre d’Arvor was present. The former TF1 JT presenter who recently filed a complaint against women who accuse him of sexual assault made his first public outing. Surrounded by relatives of the deceased, all paid a fine tribute to the actor recognized by the youngest since his role in The chorists (2004).

In the press, Minister Hervé Grandjean’s spokesperson said before the funeral homage: “The Ministry of the Armed Forces salutes the memory of Mr. Perrin, who is an emblematic figure to whom generations of French officers and soldiers identified themselves”. As a reminder, Jacques Perrin had also been an officer in the citizen reserve and official painter in the French Navy.

It was on Thursday April 21, 2022 that the death of Jacques Perrin was announced. “The family has the immense sadness to inform you of the disappearance of the filmmaker Jacques Perrin, died Thursday, April 21 in Paris. He passed away peacefully at the age of 80.could we read in the press release made by his relatives to theAFP. Now he rests in peace.
