It is this Wednesday, March 9 that the funeral of journalist Jean-Pierre Pernaut, who died at the age of 71 on 1er March 2022 last. Celebrities came in droves to pay a last tribute to this cult presenter of the TF1 television news, and columnist Bernard Montiel, who works in particular in Touche pas à mon poste on C8 alongside Cyril Hanouna, is one of them. Present at the Sainte-Clotilde basilica alongside Cyril Hanouna, Claire Chazal, Jean-Pierre Foucault, Michel Drucker, Denis Brogniart or even Evelyne Dhéliat and many others, Bernard Montiel also wanted to share a photo of the ceremony on his Instagram account to give an overview of what happens during this very solemn event.

This is a photo of Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s funeral program that Bernard Montiel shared on his Instagam account, all accompanied by a short message for the attention of the relatives of the journalist who died on 1er March due to lung cancer. “RIP Jean-Pierre Pernaut. Lots of love for his four children and my Nathalie Marquay-Pernaut” can we read. If the ceremony itself will not be filmed, several channels broadcast however the arrival of relatives and all those who have come to pay their last respects to the journalist. Moreover, TF1, Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s favorite channel on which he presented the news for more than 30 years, will obviously place him at the heart of his news until 2 p.m.

Who will be absent at the ceremony?

Regarding the speeches, several people should speak during the ceremony according to information from the Parisian. The host of Touche not at my C8 star post, Cyril Hanouna, should thus say a few words to pay tribute to Jean-Pierre Pernaut, and he is not the only one. The president of the TF1 group Gilles Pélisson, the weather presenter Evelyne Dhéliat, and the journalists Michel Izard and Dominique Lagrou-Sempère will also speak. Close to Jean-Pierre Pernaut, the presenter Christophe Beaugrand will be part of the list of absentees. As he explained on Twitter, he must indeed go to an event for the Le Refuse foundation, of which he is the sponsor.
